Terms & Conditions
- All Contracts are based on availability at time of issue and are valid for 24hours.
- The trip is not booked until the signed contract is returned and subsequently confirmed by Sovereign Jets.
- Sovereign Jets may at any time divert, postpone or cancel any flight under this Air Charter Agreement in the event that the flight cannot be performed or completed due to riots, strikes, lockouts, civil commotion existence apprehension or imminence of war, blockade, embargo, acts of governmental authorities including civil aviation authorities, fire, meteorological conditions, epidemic quarantine, requisition of aircraft, breakdown or accident to aircraft or any similar cause beyond the control of Sovereign Jets or if safety of passengers, cargo, aircraft or crew is reasonably deemed to be in jeopardy by the captain of the aircraft or Sovereign Jets operational supervisors.
If Sovereign suspends a flight for reasons as mentioned above, Sovereign Jets shall be under no obligation of liability to Charterer except to refund him any possible prepaid amount for the flight in question. - Subject to weather conditions and technique, contingency, fuel allowance, weather related measures like rental hangar and de-icing, airport clearance and any other unforeseen circumstances Sovereign cannot be held responsible for.
- Mentioned price includes; airport taxes, VIP catering on flights longer than 1 hour 15mins, free bar service and all operational costs.
- Prices exclude Wi-Fi (if applicable), consult our sales department for the additional costs.
- Special requests for catering will be invoiced separately, additional non- flight related services covered by Sovereign Business Jets on behalf of client are recharged with 15% disbursement fee. Examples of such arrangements: car-parking, taxi transport, VIP lounges, meeting room, possible (war) risk insurance, use of onboard satellite phones, limousine or taxi costs and additional services/ costs not mentioned in our quotation.
- If you are running late for the flight, we will endeavour to move your departure to the next available slot. If the next available slot doesn’t coincide with the aircrafts schedule, then the flight will have to be cancelled at the charterers full cost.
- Should the aircraft become unavailable for any reason Sovereign Jets will endeavour to provide a replacement aircraft at the same cost. If a replacement aircraft cannot be found for the equivalent charter cost, Sovereign Jets will refund the charter excluding any costs already incurred.
- All passengers must comply with the current Covid-19 regulations imposed by the authorities of the destination(s) which are being flown. In case of negligence Sovereign Business Jets will not be liable for any operational nor financial consequences.
- The cancellation fee will be applicable to both full and partial cancellations. In case of partial cancellation, the cancellation fee due will be calculated over the price difference between the initial and the revised routing.
- Sovereign Jets reserve the rights to cancel or change any empty leg booking at short notice, and the timings or routings may be subject to change. If the empty leg subsequently cancels a full refund of the price will be issued less any cost incurred.
Travel Sanctions
Regulation (EU) 2022/334 of Feb. 28, 2022, amending Regulation (EU) 883/2014, enacted sanctions that may, among other things, restrict the operation of aircraft within the territory of the European Union.
According to Article 3d of the Regulation, all aircraft chartered by, or otherwise under the control of, any Russian natural and legal persons, as well as Russian organisations or entities, are prohibited from taking off from, landing on, or overflying the territory of the European Union. Almost all flights we offer are potentially affected by these sanctions due to geographic restrictions, including flights to/from the UK.
We therefore reserve the right to refuse orders for and the operation of charter flights in the following cases and at any time during the temporal applicability of the aforementioned regulations/sanctions:
• Passenger(s) with Russian citizenship
• Direct or indirect client is natural Russian person or legal Russian person or Russian
organization or Russian institution
Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees are as below:
20% of the quote – Once signed
30% of the quote – 14 days before date of flight
50% of the quote – 7 days before date of flight
75% of the quote – Less than 2 day’s notice
100% of the quote – Within 24 hours of flight
